CHECKED LUGGAGE LMITATIONS - If your first flight starts on British Airways you will be allowed three 50 Lb (22.73 kg) checked-in pieces of luggage at no extra charge. Otherwise, those starting their trip on a domestic flight that connects with British Airways will be limited to only two 50Lb checked in pieces of luggage.

CARRYON BAGS - Carryon baggage is limited to ONE small suitcase per passenger, AND one personal carryon (ie:laptop, backpack, large purse.) All carryon bags MUST be able to fit under the seat in front of you or in the overhead bin and may not weigh more than 13 pounds (6 kg) and cannot measure more than 22” x 16” x 8” (50cm x 40cm x 20cm). The airlines are very strict on these requirements.

REGULATIONS FOR LIQUIDS IN CARRYON HAND BAGGAGE - Government authorities in many countries have now defined restrictions on the type and quantity of liquids that may be carried in hand baggage through the airport, or on flights arriving into or departing from their country.

Limited quantities of liquids, gels or pastes must be held in individual containers not exceeding 3.5 fl. Oz. (100 ml). This may include: shampoo, creams, hair gel, hair spray, suntan lotions, toothpaste, liquid or aerosol deodorants, perfumes, cosmetics such as mascara ad lip gloss, water and other drinks, soups and syrups, and other items of similar consistency. All the individual containers must be carried in a separate clear plastic, zip-top or re-sealable bag that does not exceed 8” x 8” (20cm x 20cm) or equivalent to 1.75 pint (1 liter) capacity. All items must fit in the bag comfortably and the bag must be completely closed.

At the airport security search, the plastic bag must be removed from the carry-on bag and e-ray screened separately.

Typical insurance policies include $ 50,000 emergency dental & medical including emergency transportation (evacuation), luggage loss, airline cancellation (full refund for certain reasons including death in family, illness, natural disaster, etc. Most policies do NOT offer airline ticket refunds if you simply change your mind. The approximate cost for insurance for passengers less than 30 years of age is US$54.00 - slightly higher for passengers over 30 years of age.
